Desired skills and experience:

• Occupational Therapy license and experience in school environments
• Strong ability to assess and address student needs in both fine and gross motor skills
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms for remote service delivery
• Experience supporting and guiding COTAs within a school context
• Effective communication and documentation abilities
• A collaborative, flexible approach to working with educators, families, and fellow therapists

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students’ strengths and areas needing support
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to students’ goals
• Provide direct and virtual OT services to students, ensuring continuity of care
• Support COTAs and contribute to a multidisciplinary team focused on student success
• Attend IEP meetings and share expertise to promote student growth and participation
• Track progress, maintain timely documentation, and adjust interventions as needed
