Associate Attorney

The Oklahoma City, OK office of Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS) is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its expanding Civil Litigation Practice Group . This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys looking to join a growing team and work with experienced litigators in a collaborative environment, while contributing to case strategy and development. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of litigation experience with a focus on personal injury and/or medical malpractice preferred, but certainly not required; transferrable litigation experience is welcome. Candidates must be active members in good standing of the Oklahoma Bar . Responsibilities Represent and defend clients in hearings, trials, and depositions Consult and counsel clients, effectively communicate on cases, providing consistent updates and comprehensive legal advice Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, prepare legal documents, and prepare and respond to discovery Collaborate closely with partners, associates, and other team members in building and executing successful defense strategies Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience Active membership in good standing with the Oklahoma Bar Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills Demonstrated ability to develop and execute pre-trial strategy, exercise sound judgment, and think creatively Motivated in attending trial and utilizing litigation skills Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment Compensation Salary starts at $135,000 , commensurate with experience, plus two bonus structures and a comprehensive benefits package.
