We are seeking a mid-level associate to join our employment-focused litigation and counseling team in Boston. This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of workplace matters for sophisticated clients across multiple industries, with meaningful responsibility from day one.

We operate as a collaborative, nationally connected team, providing both litigation support and proactive counseling on complex employment-related issues. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants a mix of hands‑on litigation experience and strategic advisory work.

Responsibilities

• Handle employment-related litigation matters from early case assessment through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other substantive filings
• Manage discovery, including document review, ESI, and responses
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and court appearances
• Conduct internal investigations and witness interviews
• Advise clients on day-to-day workplace issues and risk mitigation strategies
• Assist with drafting and reviewing employment agreements, policies, and restrictive covenants
• Collaborate with colleagues across offices on complex, multi-jurisdictional matters

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in employment litigation
• Experience handling cases involving wage and hour, discrimination, and workplace disputes
• Exposure to federal and state employment laws and regulations
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and work directly with clients
• Experience taking or defending depositions is a plus
• Prior clerkship experience is a plus but not required

Requirements

• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar
• Solid academic credentials
• Experience working in a law firm or similar professional environment
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
