We are seeking a Business Development Manager to strengthen Shearwater's presence and support growth across North and South America.
This is a strategic, client-facing role focused on building strong relationships, identifying new opportunities and positioning Shearwater as a trusted partner for proprietary marine seismic acquisition projects across the region. You will work closely with clients to understand their priorities, challenges, future plans and seismic needs, using that insight to shape engagement strategies and develop competitive, practical and client-focused solutions with colleagues across Shearwater. The role is central to growing our proprietary market share across the Americas by engaging early with clients, supporting regional opportunity development and helping turn client insight into commercial success Technically Speaking...
You will bring experience from the marine seismic, offshore energy, geoscience or related sector, ideally with exposure to proprietary acquisition, business development, sales, account management, tendering or client relationship management.
A good understanding of offshore energy markets in North and South America would be valuable, including awareness of key operators, exploration activity and regional business drivers. You do not need to be a technical specialist, but you should be comfortable discussing client objectives and working with technical teams to translate those objectives into practical, competitive acquisition solutions.
Commercial judgement, strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted client relationships will be critical to success in this role. The role will require regular travel across the region. In personal terms....
