Description - Your Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and advanced laboratory tests-including chemistry and hematology-adhering to established protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform necessary maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, participate in training new employees or students, and help maintain lab quality standards.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment, complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent degree in allied health that prepares you for ASCP or AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Maintain your certification throughout your tenure with us.
