EDI Coordinator / Operations Specialist

Job Description Job Description Role Summary: We are looking for a hands-on EDI Coordinator to handle the day-to-day flow of digital orders and warehouse documentation. You will be the primary person ensuring that incoming orders from our partners are processed correctly in Sage 100 and that all outbound shipping requirements—from digital ASNs to physical box labels—are met with 100% accuracy. In office M-F 7:30am - 4pm. Key Responsibilities (Daily Operations) Order Processing: Download and import daily EDI 850 (Purchase Orders) into Sage 100 ; verify pricing, terms, and inventory availability. Shipping Documentation: Generate and print all required warehouse documents, including Pick Sheets , Packing Lists , and Content Labels . Compliance Labeling: Produce and manage the printing of GS1-128 (ASN) labels and retailer-specific Price Tickets to ensure vendor compliance. Data Mapping & Entry: Use Trusted Link or Kissinger EDI to map data fields and ensure seamless communication between our ERP and trading partners. Outbound Validation: Review and transmit EDI 856 (Advance Ship Notices) and EDI 810 (Invoices) once shipments are finalized. Error Resolution: Monitor the system for "kicked" or failed transmissions; manually correct data errors to keep the order flow moving. Technical Requirements Experience: 1–4 years of experience in an EDI-heavy warehouse or office environment. Software (Highly Preferred): Practical experience using Trusted Link (OpenText) and Kissinger EDI . ERP: Experience navigating Sage 100 (MAS 90/200) specifically for order entry and shipping. Labeling: Familiarity with thermal barcode printers (Zebra, etc.) and label design software. Core Competencies Detail Obsessed: You understand that a single wrong digit on a price ticket or ASN label can result in heavy retailer chargebacks. Process Oriented: Comfortable following a specific daily checklist to ensure no orders are missed. Technical Literacy: Ability to understand basic EDI segments (ISA, GS, ST) to identify where a data break occurred.
