Job Title: Assembler
City and State: Marengo, IL
Pay Rate: $17.50/hour
Schedule/Shift: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Employment Type: Temp

Summary

Our client is seeking Assemblers to help assemble and build forklifts that are distributed worldwide. This role works on a moving assembly line in a clean, fast-paced metal manufacturing environment. Candidates must be safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable working overtime. This is currently a temporary position only with no hire-on opportunity.

Responsibilities

Assemble forklifts and sub-assemblies involving mechanical, basic electrical, and hydraulic components
Work on a moving assembly line following prescribed process sheets and work instructions
Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and simple schematics
Perform quality checks and make final repairs as needed
Move materials as required to support production

Qualifications

Ability to follow safety guidelines and work instructions
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
Willing and able to perform the essential functions of the job

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
