About the Role Skilled Trades Recruiter for Spherion WI & Northern IL, expanding our Skilled Trades practice to help regional manufacturers solve critical hiring shortages. Manage a full desk, proactively sourcing top talent while building relationships with local industrial employers. Local, relationship‑driven role requiring regular office presence and client site visits. Candidates from recruiting, B2B sales, manufacturing, or workforce development backgrounds welcome. Prior industry experience is helpful but not required; comprehensive training will be provided. Responsibilities Conduct outbound sales and networking to build relationships with manufacturing leaders. Source and pipeline skilled trades talent via job boards, social media, and community outreach. Act as a trusted advisor to clients on workforce planning, pay trends, and hiring. Manage the full hiring lifecycle: interview coordination, offers, and onboarding. Maintain accurate records within internal systems and contribute to team goals. Compensation and Benefits Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per year base + performance-based incentive program. Qualifications Strong communication, relationship‑building, and organization skills. Curiosity about technical roles and how businesses operate. Bachelor's degree or equivalent and US work authorization. Preferred Qualifications Prior staffing or skilled trades experience (CNC, welding, maintenance).
