Jr. Accountant

Location: Gardena, CA (Hybrid Schedule: 3 Days In Office / 2 Days Remote)

About the Opportunity:

A growing property management organization is seeking a detail-oriented Client & Property Setup Coordinator to support the onboarding of new property owners and assets. This position serves as a key liaison between accounting and operations teams, ensuring all new property information is accurately established within company systems. The role also provides administrative and accounting support throughout the onboarding process.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate the onboarding process for newly acquired properties, ownership groups, and vendor accounts.
• Enter and maintain property, tenant, vendor, and ownership information within property management platforms.
• Review onboarding materials, including management agreements, banking information, tax documentation, and supporting records.
• Partner with internal property management and accounting teams to ensure complete and accurate setup of new accounts.
• Validate opening financial information, rental schedules, recurring billings, and ownership data.
• Assist with account reconciliations, transaction reviews, and other entry-level accounting functions.
• Maintain organized electronic records and ensure compliance with company documentation standards.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies during the transition and setup process.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management administration, bookkeeping, accounting support, or a related field.
• Prior experience working with property management software such as Yardi, AppFolio, Buildium, Rent Manager, or comparable systems.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and property-related financial transactions.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
