Network Support Specialist

The Lodi Board of Education is seeking a Network Support Specialist for Lincoln School. The position requires a four-year college degree in computer science or information systems and five or more years of experience as a network or server administrator. Required experience includes Cisco or Fortinet switches and wireless networking. The candidate must have working knowledge of Windows, Mac OS, iOS, and Chrome OS operating systems and applications. Demonstrated competency in Windows networking, Apple equipment, file servers, print servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, software deployment technologies, backup/storage management, OS imaging, and virtualization is necessary. Google G Suite experience is a plus. The candidate should have sound decision-making skills, excellent verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to learn new technology. Responsibilities include maintaining the local area network, handling support calls and emails, installing software and operating system updates, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, performing hardware repairs, researching technology solutions, assisting in planning and maintaining IT infrastructure, and serving as a resource to staff. The position requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, use of hands for fine manipulation, and occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The salary is $70,000, negotiable commensurate with experience. Candidates must submit a cover letter and resume.
