Lead, Lifecycle Marketing

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead, Lifecycle Marketing based in United States. This role leads lifecycle marketing across email, SMS, and in-app channels, with a strong focus on engagement, conversion, and customer experience. You’ll own campaign strategy, execution, testing, optimization, and performance analysis across the customer journey. The position combines hands-on technical marketing expertise with strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll build sophisticated personalization using Liquid and Mustache, manage segmentation, and support event-driven customer journeys. You’ll partner closely with Product, Data, Martech, Engineering, Content, and Design teams to turn customer data into relevant communications. The role offers an opportunity to shape lifecycle marketing in a fast-growing, remote-friendly technology environment. Success will come from balancing creativity, technical precision, experimentation, and continuous optimization. Accountabilities - Develop and execute multi-channel lifecycle marketing strategies across email, SMS, and in-app messaging, aligning campaigns with broader marketing and business objectives. - Build personalized, dynamic communications using Liquid and Mustache, including conditional logic, loops, fallbacks, and data-driven content blocks. - Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot webhooks that transmit real-time customer and event data between marketing, product, CRM, and third-party systems. - Partner with Product, Data, Martech, and Engineering teams to define event tracking, customer attributes, and the data infrastructure required to trigger lifecycle journeys. - Collaborate with Content and Design teams to create relevant, engaging campaigns tailored to customer segments and lifecycle stages. - Manage audience segmentation, personalization, campaign builds, and accurate email deployment across multiple channels.

- Design and execute A/B tests, analyze results, and continuously optimize campaigns to improve engagement and conversion. - Maintain the lifecycle marketing calendar and coordinate messaging across channels to deliver a cohesive customer experience. - Monitor channel performance, identify trends and opportunities, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders. - Ensure lifecycle communications comply with applicable requirements, including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and SMS marketing guidelines. - Stay current with lifecycle marketing technologies, emerging practices, and industry trends to continuously improve campaign effectiveness. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. - 5+ years of experience in email marketing, SMS, and/or in-app messaging, including campaign strategy, execution, testing, and performance analysis. - Strong HTML and CSS expertise, including table-based email layouts, inline styles, media queries, and client-specific rendering considerations. - Strong JavaScript skills for landing pages, forms, custom tracking, and data manipulation. - Hands-on experience creating Liquid and/or Mustache templates for advanced personalization and conditional content. - Solid understanding of customer data models, audience segmentation, event-based triggers, and lifecycle journey architecture. - Demonstrated experience using experimentation, segmentation, and personalization to improve engagement and conversion. - Knowledge of email and SMS compliance requirements, including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and TCPA. - Experience with a customer data platform such as Segment, mParticle, or RudderStack is a plus. - Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.
