Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager Seeking a results-driven accounting professional with experience leading accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, supervising staff, and supporting month-end close processes within a fast-paced business environment. Skilled in overseeing financial workflows, improving internal controls, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to internal policies. Lead, mentor, and evaluate accounting support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Review financial records, transactions, and reports to ensure completeness and accuracy while identifying and resolving discrepancies. Support month-end and year-end close activities, including reconciliations, reporting, and process improvements. Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve billing, payment, and account-related issues. Develop and maintain departmental procedures, internal controls, and best practices to enhance efficiency and compliance. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis by providing operational and accounting insights. Manage inventory-related purchasing and accounting activities, including tracking supplies and operational materials. Collaborate with leadership on staffing needs, workflow planning, and departmental objectives. Maintain confidentiality of financial information and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company standards. Partner with other departments to resolve operational challenges and support organizational goals. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Experience supervising accounting personnel and managing transactional accounting functions. Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and enterprise accounting systems.
