Patient Support Representative

Acting as a patient advocate, the full-time Patient Support Center Representative will manage a high volume of inbound calls, resolve patient issues related to claims and benefits, and enter patient information into systems while working remotely across Eastern, Central, or Mountain Time Zones. Key responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing complex patient issues and acting as a liaison between patients and other departments Utilize Optum systems to manage appointments, claims, eligibility, and benefits while ensuring accurate documentation and data entry Assist in training new representatives and support daily paperwork to enhance team efficiency and meet departmental goals Required qualifications: High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience Must be 18 years of age or older 1+ years of experience in a customer service role Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant systems Ability to work full-time with flexibility for various 8-hour shifts during business hours
