We're working on a confidential Director of Accounting search for a multi-entity organization in the Lafayette area with significant projected growth. Given your experience, we thought this opportunity was worth sharing in case you're open to a move or know someone who might be a strong fit.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this individual will provide accounting leadership across multiple businesses, oversee financial reporting and the close process, and lead an accounting team of approximately 20 professionals. The role will focus on maintaining financial integrity, strengthening internal controls, improving processes and efficiencies, and developing the accounting function to support continued growth.

The ideal candidate will bring substantial accounting leadership experience, strong technical knowledge of GAAP financial reporting, and a track record of developing teams and improving accounting operations. A CPA is strongly preferred, and experience with M&A accounting, due diligence, or acquisition-related reporting would be beneficial.

DIRECTOR OF ACCOUNTING

Lafayette Area

Oversee accounting and financial reporting across multiple businesses
Lead and develop an accounting team of approximately 20 professionals
Own the month-end and year-end close processes and ensure financial accuracy
Prepare and present financial reports to leadership
Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes and efficiencies
Build a scalable accounting function to support continued organizational growth

Bachelors Degree in Accounting

10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant leadership responsibility

CPA preferred
