Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Anesthesiology

Responsibilities Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing various surgical procedures Monitor patient vital signs before, during, and after procedures Collaborate with surgical teams to provide optimal patient care Evaluate patient medical histories and assess risk factors Provide preoperative and postoperative consultations Remain current with anesthesia techniques and protocols Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding procedures Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the operating room Requirements Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree Currently licensed to practice in the state of Missouri Completion of an accredited residency program in Anesthesiology Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology Strong knowledge of anesthesia protocols and monitoring techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Commitment to patient safety and quality care Schedule: 8, 10, and 24-hour shifts Must be willing to work with residents Patient Volume: 15 per day 4 endo/ERCP rooms 15 ORs Off-site surgery center EMR: Epic Must be board-certified Beeper/in-house call Paid travel & expenses #J-18808-Ljbffr 77 consultants
