Shipping CoordinatorThe Shipping Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and safe outbound shipments while maintaining finished-goods inventory accuracy. This role works closely with receiving and material handling teams to support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. HOURS: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm. Mandated overtime based on business need.WHAT YOU'LL DO - Shipping Coordinator Responsibilities:Loads outbound shipments for customer deliveryInspect outbound shipment for damage, verify quantities, and address any discrepanciesMust possess a keen sense of attention to detailMust be familiar with proper packaging methods and reference United Alloy's Master Document system for formal instructionsAbility to operate a forklift, overhead cranes, tape measure, calipers, and hand toolsMust be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds with an assistMust be able to read and write job numbersPossess effective written and verbal communication skillsWork in collaboration with receiving and material handlingAdheres to maintaining finished good inventory control and accuracyMaintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulationsMust perform all duties in conjunction with UAI and ISO requirementsAbility to cross train in receivingOther duties as assignedWHAT YOU'LL BRING:Understand how to manage daily work expectations and goalsUnderstand cross check concepts and inspects product according to Inspection Control PlanFollows safe manufacturing and material handling practicesAbility to sustain 95% efficiencyCan maintain a high level of quality - must not have scrap in excess of $500 per calendar yearCan inspect and clean equipmentHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredMust have forklift and material handling experienceMust have a valid driver's license with a good driving recordMust possess effective written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and be detail oriented12 Expected Behaviors of Actively Engaged Person – 100% Responsible, Trustworthy, Team Player, Clear Communicator, Empathy, Humility, Emotional Self-Control, Resolves Conflict Directly, Positive Attitude, Respects Others, Problem Solver, and AgileBENEFITS:In addition to excellent starting wages, we offer a competitive compensation and benefits package as well as numerous perks.
