Your ability to follow manufacturing drawings and use mechanical hand tools will be essential for success in this role.ResponsibilitiesOperate tools to perform assembly in a cleanroom environment.Make minor setups of equipment in assigned areas.Review production data to identify potential areas of non-conformance.Perform tests or quality checks on assembled units.Interpret drawings and identify needed modifications and improvements.Work under direct supervision.Essential Skills2+ years of recent mechanical assembly experience, preferably within the semiconductor industry.Skilled in the operation of a variety of assembly tools.Visual acuity and manual dexterity.Ability to clearly explain experience from previous jobs.Additional Skills & QualificationsVocational or technical training preferred.Why Work Here?Experience a dynamic and friendly work environment within a smaller but rapidly growing semiconductor company. The position is a 90-business-day contract to hire (approximately 4 months).Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
