Temporary Accounting Clerk

Our client is looking for a temporary accounting clerk to join their company located near Westchester County. This position assists the controller with invoice entry, electronic invoicing and payment, system maintenance, check production, and statement reconciliation. Responsibilities include:

• Cash handling and account management of residential clients' personal allowance and residential group homes' petty cash budgets
• Ability to navigate pa, enter in new payroll system and termination paperwork, employee payroll status changes, direct deposits, and tax information, timecard review, process and review payroll financial reports, issuance of emergency manual payroll checks, payroll journal entries, accruals, and bank reconciliations
• Categorize bills from email and document in standard company format
• Scan & organize hard copy bills & receipts for standard documentation
• Enter bills into QuickBooks financial file
• Download monthly statements from vendors and reconcile
• Enter credit card transactions and review daily activity
• Enter check requests for customer refunds

Requirements:

• Associates degree with 2+ years' experience in accounts payable
• Demonstrated experience with ERP systems, as well as MS Excel
