Key responsibilities

• Site preparation:
  Clean up the construction site, remove debris and trash, and dig trenches or compact earth as needed.
• Material and equipment handling:
  Load, unload, and move building materials, tools, and equipment to where they are needed.
• Assisting skilled trades:
  Help electricians, plumbers, carpenters, and other skilled workers with their tasks.
• Equipment operation:
  Operate light machinery and hand/power tools, and assist with heavy equipment when required.
• Safety and maintenance:
  Follow all safety protocols, maintain a clean and organized worksite, and perform general maintenance on tools and equipment

 

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for long periods.
• Strong physical strength and stamina.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions.
• Willingness to learn and perform various tasks.
• A high school diploma or GED is often preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license
