Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2340 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Sunrise is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - Capital Division.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Med/Surg skillset required: head-to-toe assessment; orthopedic care knowledge; IV medication administration including management of Lasix drip, heparin drip, IVP metoprolol, diltiazem, and insulin IV or subQ; wound care including drain management and vacs; NGT/G-tube care and parenteral nutrition; central line management (PICC/HD catheter/midlines); Foley/nephrostomy/suprapubic catheter care; ostomy care; postoperative patient care.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - HCA knowledge preferred.

Unit Details: - Urology-focused Med-Surg/Tele unit. - Patient ratios: 1:5 days; 1:6 nights. - Unit support includes 1 unit secretary 7a-11p; PCT ratio 1:10-15, with matrix typically calling for 3 working on a typical shift; occasional 1:1 coverage with PCT or patient safety tech. - Equipment includes Hoyer lift, automated BP machines, bladder scanner, remote telemetry monitoring, and vein finder.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: - Floats to like MST units (D1, F2); float pool then travelers generally float first.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required
