Independent Financial Advisor

The Opportunity: We are searching for a full-time Financial Advisor. You will be joining our five-person team with two existing advisors, two administrators, and a marketing executive. We have a strong client base and a robust pipeline—we need an advisor with a team mentality who is motivated to provide top-tier client service while benefitting from a supportive team. You would be given annual performance reviews with the opportunity of competitive raises. Depending on contribution and performance you may have the opportunity to become a partner after 2-3 years on the team. Hours needed are 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday. We are known for our impeccable face-to-face client service; therefore, this position is in-person without the option of remote work. Qualifications: Current Series 63, Series 7, and Series 65/66 licenses are required. At least one year of client service experience is required. LTC or Life/Health/Annuity licensing will make you a stronger candidate for our full-service firm. Responsibilities: Meeting with and servicing our existing clients alongside another advisor Placing trades as directed Assisting with the financial planning process Using CRM software (Wealthbox) Using AI notetaking tools Handling client information in a confidential manner A successful candidate should demonstrate: Compassion and empathy for your clients and their financial story Experience with the financial planning process Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage priorities and deadlines A strong work ethic built on a foundation of integrity and trust A willingness to learn and grow Relationship-driven team player Self-motivated with strong organizational skills Professional appearance Experience with Microsoft 365 College degree preferred, but not required Fingerprinting and background check is required for all LPL Financial employees Our client events usually take place once a quarter in the evening hours. Locations vary across Chesterfield and Blackstone, VA. Your attendance at these events is expected in order to foster positive relationships and meet clients in a more casual setting.
