Service Operations Specialist

Install & Service Operations Coordinator Location: Monterey Park, CA Schedule: Full-Time Compensation: $26/hr Reports To: Operations Manager Position Summary Seeking a highly organized, proactive Install & Service Operations Coordinator to support the daily operations of our installation and service teams. This role serves as the communication hub between field technicians, subcontractors, customers, and internal teams to ensure projects stay on schedule and issues are resolved quickly. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes ownership of keeping operations running efficiently. This is an operations-focused role that requires urgency, strong follow-through, and excellent communication. Key Responsibilities Contact field technicians and subcontractors each morning to confirm schedules, job status, arrival windows, and site readiness. Maintain real-time visibility into daily field operations through consistent follow-up with technicians. Proactively identify and elevate scheduling conflicts, delays, customer concerns, or operational risks. Contact customers prior to appointments to confirm scheduling, access requirements, and site readiness. Coordinate communication between customers, field teams, project managers, and internal operations. Track installation and service progress using scheduling software and internal systems. Verify job completion by reviewing technician notes, photos, and required documentation. Identify and resolve issues that could result in unnecessary return visits or project delays. Monitor outstanding items such as missing materials, incomplete work, permits, and customer escalations. Maintain accurate operational records and provide timely status updates. Support leadership with reporting, scheduling, and operational follow-up. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in service coordination, dispatch, scheduling, operations, or a similar field support role. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Comfortable working with customers, technicians, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders. Experience in the security, construction, alarm, low-voltage, field service, or home services industry is preferred. Experience with dispatch, scheduling, or ticketing software is a plus.
