POSITION SUMMARY:

The Administrative Assistant reports directly to the Chief Procurement Officer. They are responsible for supporting various procurement program activities and needs of the Chief Procurement Officer, the Clinical Resource Manager, and the purchasing team. They have assigned duties in support of Enloe's value analysis program; the capital committee (CapCom); the Workforce Sustainability committee; and other general clerical duties within Procurement and Support Services. They are exposed to sensitive and proprietary information regarding Enloe contracts, financial materials, and administrative decisions and are expected to keep the highest level of confidentiality in all matters. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:

Minimum:

• One year working in an office environment performing general clerical duties including experience using computers and Microsoft Office programs.

Desired:

• Billing analysis and/or procurement experience
• Experience in healthcare or hospital environment

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:

Must have excellent interpersonal and telephone skills to establish and maintain a high degree of rapport and interact professionally with managers, co-workers, employees, consultants, attorneys, patients, and the public at large. Must be able to always keep strict confidentiality. Must be self-motivated with accountability and ownership of work. Must be able to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment, independently make decisions and prioritize duties. They must be proficient in all Microsoft Office Products with a specific emphasis on Excel, TractManager, Infor, vendor relationships, contracts, and Internet document retrieval experience. Strong written composition skills. Organizational and multi-tasking skills essential. Must have high level of attention to detail. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position. Must follow HIPAA Regulations and company confidentiality policies and procedures.
