Contracts Analyst

The Contracts Analyst I is an entry-level position within the Contracting Department. This role provides support throughout the contracting process and works closely with Contracts Analyst II, Senior-level team members, and Contracts Management. The Contracts Analyst I assists with contract administration and document management throughout the bidding, pre-construction, and construction phases of projects, gaining hands‑on experience while developing a strong foundation in contract management. Primary Job Responsibilities Track and maintain accurate version histories for contract exhibits and other documents sent and received. Perform document control functions, including managing internal and external file repositories, organizing file structures, and ensuring records remain accurate and up to date. Prepare and distribute meeting action items to responsible parties, as required. Attend project‑related meetings and communicate updates to key dates, pricing, and other contractual information. Maintain accurate records of communicated deadlines and contractual requirements. Assist with project closeout activities, with appropriate oversight, to ensure contractual requirements are properly documented and completed. Support the processing and administration of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) . Redact contractual documents in accordance with established guidelines for protecting internal and confidential information. Request, track, and maintain records related to Parent Guarantees, Bonds, and Certificates of Insurance . Learn from and shadow Contracts Analyst II and senior Contracts team members to develop knowledge of contracting processes and best practices. Perform other duties as assigned. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-5 years of comparable professional experience preferred. Experience working in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating daily responsibilities is strongly preferred. Required Skills & Abilities Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and documents. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization, from administrative professionals to executives. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite . Experience with Adobe Acrobat and/or Bluebeam preferred. Comfortable communicating and presenting information to groups of varying sizes and professional backgrounds.
