Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 08/10/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel # Job Opportunity – Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist – West Virginia**Start Date:** ASAP **Location:** Morgantown, West Virginia **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 4x10 Days (7:00am-5:30pm) or 5x8 (7:30am-4:00pm) as needed; on-call coverage includes 1 weekday and 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks, plus holidays**Highlights:**- 13-week travel contract with potential for extension in a state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization laboratory- Participate in diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures along with endovascular peripheral interventions- Work with advanced Siemens equipment and Cerner EMR system- Comprehensive procedural experience including diagnostic catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, cardiac stent placement, IABP, Impella insertion, and vascular closure systems- Collaborative environment working alongside qualified physicians performing high-acuity cardiovascular procedures- Scrubs provided; structured orientation process with bi-weekly start dates**Requirements:**- Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology- ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (CI) preferred- Valid West Virginia Medical Imaging and Radiologic Technologist License (or compact state license; pending licenses accepted for submission)- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)- Minimum 1.5-2 years of recent experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization laboratory settings- Previous travel healthcare experience required- Proficiency in cardiac cath lab procedures including hemodynamic monitoring, left and right heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary interventions, and temporary pacemaker placement- Experience with Special Procedures; Electrophysiology and Interventional Radiology experience preferred- Demonstrated competency in accurate monitoring, equipment setup, sterile technique, access site preparation, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias- Minimum of 2 professional manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years- Permanent address must be 100+ miles from the facility location**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**Join a dynamic cardiovascular team where you'll utilize cutting-edge technology to perform life-saving endovascular procedures.
