Communications Analyst

The Communications Analyst coordinates and facilitates repairs of technology systems and office equipment for the Integrated Public Safety Commission, which provides interoperable public safety communications to first responders across Indiana. The role involves managing wireless communications devices, developing technical standards and policies, testing and troubleshooting equipment, and serving as a consultant to agency employees on communications systems. This position is located in Indianapolis and may involve supervisory responsibilities based on agency needs. Key qualifications: Extensive knowledge of voice and data communications analysis, design techniques, and IP Telephony products Advanced knowledge of PBX/Key systems, ACD, IVR and telephone technical problems and solutions Advanced knowledge of state procurement policies, procedures and standards Thorough knowledge of structured cabling systems and industry standards Considerable knowledge of pagers, cellular phones and wireless devices Ability to read, understand and interpret complex manuals and blueprints #J-18808-Ljbffr
