Job Title: MIG Welder Job Description Join our team as a MIG Welder, where you will specialize in welding various types of steel and alloys used in playground equipment. You will primarily work with steel, stainless steel, aluminum, black steel, and various alloys. These materials are typically thinner gauges, up to 1/8\" thick, requiring precision and sensitivity. You will be responsible for welding based on blueprints, with some duties involving moving fixtures into welding bays, which may require lifting up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on steel and alloys for playground equipment. Work with materials including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and black steel. Interpret and weld according to blueprints. Move fixtures into welding bays, requiring lifting up to 50 lbs. Ensure precision welding on thinner gauge materials. Essential Skills Minimum 1 year of recent experience (or equivalent schooling) in MIG welding. Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints; blueprint reading test required. Proficiency in using a tape measure down to 1/32\". Capability to lift 50 lbs without restrictions. Additional Skills & Qualifications 2-Year Welding Degree preferred. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delano, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
