A growing, technology-forward litigation firm is seeking a newly licensed or very junior Associate Attorney to join its expanding practice.

This is an ideal opportunity for a recent law school graduate awaiting bar results, a newly admitted attorney, or a first-year associate who wants to be trained from the ground up by experienced litigators while working in a 100% remote environment.

The firm’s core practice includes commercial litigation, insurance defense, insurance coverage and fraud investigations, while it is also expanding into estate planning, wills and trusts, business litigation, M&A/corporate matters and appellate work.

The firm is not focused on finding someone who already knows every aspect of the practice.

They are looking for someone who is:

Newly licensed or early in their first year of practice
A strong legal writer
Detail-oriented and highly attentive
Eager to learn litigation from experienced attorneys

Interested in eventually taking depositions, appearing in court and developing into a true trial attorney

The Opportunity

The firm is intentionally looking for someone new and coachable who can be developed within the practice.

The successful candidate will work directly with highly experienced attorneys, including the firm’s founder, who has approximately 25–30 years of experience, and another partner with nearly 40 years of practice experience.

The goal is to develop someone who can eventually:

Independently manage litigation matters
Draft substantive motions, briefs and pleadings
Conduct and defend depositions
Prepare cases for trial
Work directly with clients
Develop case strategy
Take increasing ownership of matters
Grow alongside the firm as it expands into additional practice areas
