• Draw blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations, following established procedures.
• Prepare specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring proper labeling, handling, and documentation.
• Explain procedures to patients to foster a trusting and comfortable environment.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all specimen collections and related activities.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a professional, clean environment.
• Perform duties independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating process excellence and confidentiality.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely and accurate test specimen processing.

Required Skills

• Strong phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Accurate keyboard and data entry skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow safety protocols.

Additional Skills & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience required; 1+ years preferred.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training is a plus.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.
• Reliable personal transportation is necessary.
• Must be available and on time for scheduled shifts, with a clean attendance record.
• Candidate should list home city and commute time within 20-25 minutes to the worksite.
