** Pay: ** $22.00–$27.00 per hour, depending on experience
** Schedule: ** Full-Time | 40 hours per week | Monday–Friday
** Start Time: ** 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, or 8:30 AM- start time is flexible
** Language: ** Bilingual Spanish is not required

** Position Summary **

We are seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented professional to join our Accounting and Payroll team. This position will primarily focus on payroll processing, reviewing employee hours, maintaining accurate payroll records, and assisting with employee benefits.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on payroll experience and a strong understanding of payroll processes, employee hours, benefits, and payroll systems. This is a great opportunity for someone who is experienced, organized, dependable, and comfortable handling confidential employee information.

** Key Responsibilities **

• Process and manage weekly/biweekly payroll as assigned.
• Upload payroll information into the company's payroll system and Paychex.
• Review and cross-reference employee hours for accuracy.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in hours, pay, and employee information.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
• Assist with employee benefits and benefit package administration.
• Understand employee benefit options, enrollments, deductions, and changes.
• Ensure payroll and benefit information is entered accurately and timely.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee, payroll, and compensation information.
• Assist with accounting-related tasks and administrative duties as needed.
• Communicate with employees regarding payroll and benefits questions.
• Support the Accounting and Payroll teams with additional responsibilities as needed.

** Qualifications **

• Previous hands-on payroll experience is required.
• Strong understanding of payroll processing and employee hours.
• Experience working with payroll systems and payroll service providers.
• Paychex experience is preferred.
• Understanding of employee benefits and benefit packages.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information.
• Accounting or general office experience is a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish is not required.
