Associate Scientist Research Laboratory Operations

Revolution Medicines seeks an Associate Scientist to execute in vivo pharmacology studies in rodent models, manage vivarium operations, and supervise research staff. The role involves designing and conducting efficacy and pharmacokinetic studies while maintaining animal welfare standards and supporting team development.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, analyze, and report in vivo efficacy and pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic studies
• Develop and characterize preclinical disease models in mice
• Manage research associates and supervise weekend vivarium staff operations
• Maintain vivarium inventory, equipment, and documentation while ensuring regulatory compliance
• Train junior team members on in vivo techniques and troubleshoot operational issues

Requirements

• BS or MS in Biology, Pharmacology, or related discipline; or 5-8 years relevant experience
• Proficiency with mouse handling techniques including dosing routes, tumor measurement, blood collection, and necropsy
• Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to work independently
• Proficiency in GraphPad Prism, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Research experience with mouse cancer models or cancer immunotherapy
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary team environments
