Director of Warehouse OperationsAtlanta, GAThis role leads a 24/7 warehouse operation for a large food manufacturing company with a highly automated distribution operation in the Atlanta area, supporting the movement of finished food products from manufacturing through distribution. The position has a major focus on Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS), high bay crane systems, WMS execution, inventory accuracy, food safety compliance, and outbound customer fulfillment. This is a specialized leadership role requiring hands on experience in a high volume food manufacturing or food distribution environment utilizing ASRS crane systems.ScheduleFull time, supporting a 24/7 multi shift warehouse operation.Compensation$140,000 to $175,000 per year, based on experience.What You'll DoThis role leads a 24/7 warehouse operation supporting a high volume food manufacturing environment, overseeing exempt and non exempt warehouse leadership teams across multiple shifts. The Director owns operational performance of ASRS crane systems, automated storage solutions, WMS, ERP, and related warehouse technologies, partnering closely with Manufacturing, Transportation, Maintenance, Engineering, IT, Quality, Food Safety, and Supply Chain teams to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient product flow. This includes driving inventory accuracy, FIFO rotation, order fulfillment, dock to stock and order to ship performance, and outbound shipping results, along with improving ASRS uptime, throughput, system utilization, loading accuracy, and overall warehouse productivity.The role also carries responsibility for labor planning, staffing, budget management, capital projects, and automation improvement initiatives. The Director maintains a safety first, food safety focused, audit ready warehouse culture, ensuring compliance with OSHA, FDA, GMP, SQF, food defense, and internal food safety requirements. Building and developing a high performing warehouse leadership team focused on accountability, engagement, safety, and continuous improvement is a core part of the role.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field7 or more years of progressive warehouse or distribution leadership experienceAt least 2 years in a Director level or senior warehouse leadership roleExperience in food manufacturing or food distributionHands on leadership experience with Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS), specifically high bay automated crane systemsStrong WMS, ERP, inventory control, and FIFO experienceExperience leading large 24/7 multi shift warehouse operationsExperience managing exempt and non exempt warehouse teamsStrong understanding of food safety, GMP, FDA, SQF, OSHA, and audit ready warehouse practicesPreferred QualificationsExperience with capital project management for automation or facility upgradesExperience partnering cross functionally across manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, IT, transportation, quality, and supply chainAdvanced knowledge of labor planning, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI driven performance managementCompensation and BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance401kPaid time offTo apply, submit your resume for consideration.
