Procurement Specialist

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and supply chain solutions, is seeking a USA|Procurement Specialist 4 to join their team. As a USA|Procurement Specialist 4, you will be part of the procurement department supporting various operational teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: USA|Procurement Specialist 4 Location: Houston, TX Pay Range: $36/hour Shift: 1 What's the Job? Develop complex buying strategies to purchase and arrange timely deliveries of supplies and materials. Serve as liaison between vendors and internal users to resolve delivery, quality, or invoice-related issues. Review and analyze requisitions and supply plans for domestic and international purchases, developing project plans and purchasing systems. Negotiate prices, terms, and quality requirements; evaluate market conditions and develop new supply sources. Manage supplier relationships, conduct negotiations, and support supplier qualification, evaluation, and development processes. What's Needed? Strong experience in SAP and procurement processes. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to develop and implement purchasing strategies and cost-saving initiatives.
