Job Description
A leading global alternative investment manager is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to partner directly with senior Portfolio Managers across its fundamental equities platform.
\n \nThis is a front-office role focused on generating differentiated, alpha-driving insights through alternative data, advanced modeling, and AI.
\n \nWhat You’ll Do
\n- \n
- Frame and test high-conviction investment hypotheses \n
- Analyze structured and alternative data (Python & SQL) \n
- Build time-series models and earnings-driven forecasts \n
- Develop and rigorously validate new investment signals \n
- Leverage LLMs and AI tools to enhance research workflows \n
- Deliver clear, decision-ready insights to senior investors \n
What We’re Looking For
\n- \n
- 2+ years in data science, alternative data, or quantitative research \n
- Strong Python & SQL skills \n
- Solid foundation in statistics and time-series analysis \n
- Clear communicator who can translate technical work into investment impact \n
- Financial markets exposure preferred \n
