Buyer Position Available
Highly specialized manufacturing operation in the greater Knoxville area has immediate opening for a Buyer. The position is open due to upcoming retirement. This is an excellent work environment (low stress, low chaos) offering a good work / life balance. The Buyer will be part of a small department. This role will source Electrical components and will be responsible for an annual spend in the $10-20M range. Will interact regularly with Quality, Engineering, and R&D for launch of new products. Qualified candidates will have BS degree and 8+ years Purchasing experience. Knowledge of Engineered-to-Order environments is a plus. Experience with SAP is also a plus. Relocation assistance is not available at this time.
