Accountant (Bilingual Japanese/English)

Join a well-established organization looking for a Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and month-end close activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working independently and partnering with leadership to support business decisions. MUST BE BILINGUAL JAPANESE

Pay: $77,000 - $85,000 + Performance Bonus

As the Senior Accountant, You'll Be Responsible For:

\n
• Overseeing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
\n
• Preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports.
\n
• Managing consolidated financial reporting and intercompany transactions.
\n
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts.
\n
• Preparing tax filings and coordinating with external tax advisors.
\n
• Monitoring project costs and maintaining Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules.
\n
• Assisting with audits, compliance requirements, and process improvements.
\n
• Providing financial insights and recommendations to management.
\n

Our Ideal Senior Accountant Candidate:

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
\n
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
\n
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
\n
• Experience with consolidations, intercompany accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
\n
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting software experience.
\n
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
\n
• Fluent in both Japanese and English (written and verbal) required.
\n
• CPA preferred but not required.
\n
