Litchfield Road,Goodyear, AZ, 85338,United States Employee Type Full Time Contact information Description The Production Operator IIis responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and adjusting production equipment used in the manufacturing of photovoltaic solar modules. This role utilizes computer-controlled equipment to perform routine production tasks according to established procedures, quality standards, and production requirements. The Production Operator II monitors equipment performance, responds to alarms, adjusts machine settings as needed, and ensures products are manufactured safely, accurately, and efficiently. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Sets up and operate production equipment to produce various commercial products following specifications, blueprints, and diagrams. Monitors production output to ensure quality and conformance to required metrics. Maintains accurate records of production activities, reporting any inconsistencies or equipment issues in a timely manner. Adheres to established safety procedures, including material handling guidelines and the use of personal protective equipment. Interfaces with equipment computers to monitor parameters and alarms Monitors process data & makes decisions based on procedures to maintain process control Recognizes conditions the require escalation and provide communication on the issues Collects data and provides reporting when requested or as needed Provide communication with team members and leadership during shift changes Ensures waste is discarded timely and appropriately Assists new employees and supervisors/leaders in achieving their tasks and work targets. Performs temporary job reassignments as needed. Executes work in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assist the team in meeting production goals. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Typically requires 1 to 3 years of manufacturing, production, equipment operation, or related experience. Fundamental knowledge to work with different computer applications. Ability to use mobile systems, communication devices, and simple tool interfaces. Ability to use simple hand tools and measurement tools Basic Math skills appropriate to learn typical manufacturing production metrics Able and willing to learn (interface with machine control panels, recognize quality, perform data analytics, troubleshoot issues and problem-solve Proficiency in English language skills. Physical Requirements: A bi lity to work in manufacturing environment , including stand ing and walking for up to 12 hours per day Ability to lift, push or pull up to 30 lbs Ability to stoop, kneel, bend on occasional basis Ability to reach above shoulder and below waist frequentl y Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects repetitively on a frequent basi 20/40 vision in each eye (with or without correction) and the ability to distinguish between red, yellow, and green is required #J-18808-Ljbffr Kids for the Future
