This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Occupational Therapist who thrives on making a meaningful difference in children’s lives while collaborating with educators and families.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Illinois
- Previous experience in educational or healthcare settings as an OT
- Comfortable with providing therapy in both individual and group sessions
- Strong skills in developing and implementing IEP goals
- Knowledge of therapy documentation requirements for schools
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students and create individualized treatment plans tailored to unique needs
- Deliver targeted OT interventions to help students achieve academic and functional goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, ensuring informed recommendations for related services
- Educate staff and families on therapeutic strategies to reinforce success in and out of the classroom
- Monitor progress, adapt interventions, and maintain compliance with documentation standards
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and other school professionals
