Executive Operations Lead

Location Los Angeles, CA (In-Office) Mission LENS’s mission is to end traffic accidents. LENS prevents accidents and saves lives by detecting hazards to prevent accidents before they happen. Platform & Product LENS Detect scans CCTV feeds on highways to identify hazards, in real-time, before they become accidents. Public Safety agencies, alongside Departments of Transportation, receive alerts on the LENS Detect dashboard about Disabled Vehicles, Stalled Big Rigs, and Pedestrians on Freeway. A dispatcher reviews and validates the detection, and then dispatches an officer to the scene to assist the person in need — resulting in either preventing an accident or saving a life. CBS LA recently did a three minute TV feature that succinctly captures what LENS is doing with Public Safety Agencies in one of the largest traffic capitols in the world: CHP LA Communications Center using AI to prevent accidents before they happen Role & Responsibilities As an Executive Operations Lead, you seek transformational change. You do not accept the status quo that accidents are an accepted inevitability, or that they just happen. Instead, you believe when the root cause of an accident can be known in advance, the accident can and should be prevented. You work with fellow Preventers that share this core belief, using LENS to prevent accidents and save lives. Your responsibilities are: Keep leadership focused and high-leverage. Steward the CEO's calendar and comms. Ensure all meetings are the highest-impact use of CEO and leadership time and attention. Work independently to ensure all inbound and outbound communications, including email, meeting prep, talking points, and follow-ups, are triaged, and with responses pre-drafted, so that the CEO’s involvement is kept at the most strategic and impactful level possible. Provide operational support to leadership and the business. Keep leadership on top of deadlines and deliverables, plan and manage LENS internal events, and support cross-functional projects and special initiatives as needed. You understand what a successful outcome looks like before you start, and you work backwards to ensure every step is accounted for. The Skills & Experience you have are: 10+ years of experience supporting leaders, including at least 4-6 years supporting senior executives (CEO, Founder, or C‑suite equivalent) in a high-velocity environment, ideally within a startup, venture-backed company, or similarly fast-moving organization. Experience supporting a CEO is strongly preferred. Proven experience operating as the right hand to a CEO or senior leader with significant external visibility, including managing engagements with investors, board members, government officials, enterprise customers, or other high-profile stakeholders. Exceptional calendar and time orchestration skills, including managing complex, high-volume, multi-stakeholder schedules across multiple time zones, with the ability to continuously prioritize and re-prioritize based on business urgency and executive focus. Demonstrated ability to operate in high-stakes, high-trust environments, where scheduling errors, missed context, or poor judgment can materially impact business relationships or strategic outcomes. Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to draft clear, polished, and context-aware emails, briefing materials, agendas, talking points, and follow-ups on behalf of senior leadership. High judgment and discretion, with a consistent track record of handling confidential information appropriately, including sensitive business discussions, personnel matters, investor communications, and external partnerships. Operational excellence across tools and systems, including Google Workspace, Slack, calendar platforms, and task management systems (Notion or equivalent). Comfort and fluency with AI-enabled productivity tools, using them to increase speed, accuracy, and leverage in communication, scheduling, and coordination workflows. Experience in environments with external-facing leadership responsibilities, ideally including exposure to government stakeholders, public sector partners, enterprise customers, or similarly formal/high-sensitivity external relationships. The time to accept traffic accidents is ending, and the time to prevent them is beginning. This belief is becoming more of an inevitable reality every day.
