About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Enterprise Risk Management to play a pivotal role in driving and maintaining enterprise-wide risk management practices, standards, and reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and execution of risk management frameworks, leading the evolution of strategic risk frameworks, and managing the company's risk appetite statements. This role demands a deep understanding of operational and technology risks, as well as the ability to interface with functional units to establish and communicate risk management methodologies. The VP will also be tasked with leading a team of risk professionals, ensuring the organization's risk profile aligns with business strategy, and providing thought leadership on risk-related matters. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for an advanced degree, and at least 10-12 years of experience in risk management, particularly in the financial services industry. The role requires extensive experience in defining enterprise standards for risk assessments, knowledge of the financial regulatory environment, and experience with GRC platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in control testing, key risk indicator frameworks, and experience with risk management in the context of payments or banking technology. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a collaborative environment and manage a team of junior risk professionals.
