About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Marketing to lead its marketing function with a focus on building a predictable demand engine for its SaaS business. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of marketing, including demand generation, field and event marketing, account-based marketing, product marketing, and brand. This role is pivotal in creating a qualified pipeline, improving conversion, and supporting sales in complex, high-value markets. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years' B2B marketing experience, with a proven track record in demand generation and a strong command of modern marketing practices. Experience in GovCon, aerospace and defense, or other regulated B2B markets is preferred. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Marketing at the company include leading a high-performing marketing team, developing and executing integrated marketing strategies, and ensuring close alignment with sales and revenue operations. The role demands a hands-on, commercially oriented leader who can combine strategic thinking with disciplined execution, particularly in the use of AI and automation tools to enhance marketing processes. The candidate should be adept at event marketing, designing account-based programs, and have a collaborative leadership style. The position requires a leader who is comfortable with AI tools and has recent, practical experience in using them to improve targeting, personalization, content production, and campaign operations.
