Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to ascertain the needs of clients, laying the groundwork for tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused techniques, for individuals, couples, and families.
• Facilitate support and psychoeducational groups focused on common mental health challenges, fostering community and connection among participants.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, equipping clients with the support and skills to address urgent mental health emergencies.
• Educate clients regarding mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to assist their journey toward wellness.
• Maintain precise and confidential client documentation, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines to ensure compliance and trust.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including case discussions and training on emerging best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The counselors at Enlightenment Psychotherapy Services provide care to a broad spectrum of clients, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and other mental health disorders. Our approach is rooted in understanding each client's unique circumstances and challenges, ensuring that our services are both relevant and impactful. Qualifications

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Massachusetts.
• Strong understanding of various mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Proven experience conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a community mental health setting, particularly within diverse or underprivileged communities.
• Background in facilitating support and psychoeducational groups is desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling modalities.
• Previous experience or training in crisis intervention techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
