The Daily Vibe Psychotherapy Center is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team on a full-time basis. This role, primarily conducted remotely through telehealth services, aims to support individuals facing mental health challenges by providing expert therapeutic guidance and support. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess their mental health status, ensuring thorough evaluation and documentation of their progress.
• Develop personalized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices, collaborating with clients to address specific issues such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including individual and group therapy, to empower clients and equip them with coping strategies.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring all client information is confidential and securely stored.
• Provide referrals to other healthcare professionals when necessary, facilitating comprehensive care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals dealing with a variety of mental health challenges such as mood disorders, trauma, anxiety disorders, and addiction. Each client brings their unique life experiences and cultural backgrounds, allowing you to employ culturally responsive and inclusive therapeutic approaches. Ensuring a strong therapeutic alliance with clients will be key to fostering their overall well-being and progress.

Qualifications

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A valid and current license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of four years of direct experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a robust understanding of therapeutic approaches.
• Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to manage high-stress situations while preserving a calm and supportive environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain a trusting relationship with clients.
• Proficiency in EHR systems and computer applications related to therapy documentation and client management.
• A commitment to ethical practices, maintaining professional boundaries, and ensuring client confidentiality.
• The ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive client care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in delivering culturally competent care, with specific focus on diverse populations and their distinct mental health needs.
• Work experience in both individual and group therapy settings, employing flexible and responsive approaches to therapy.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and the effective delivery of virtual counseling services.

Compensation and Benefits
