Construction Project CoordinatorWe are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to support project administration for a full-service asphalt paving contractor in the Greater Kansas City area. The Project Coordinator will manage documentation, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure compliance with project quality standards. This is a full-time, on-site role.What We Offer$60,000 - $65,000 annual salary based on experienceCompany-paid medical, dental, and vision insuranceCompany-matched IRA retirement planPaid holidays and paid vacationKey Responsibilities - Construction Project CoordinatorCollaborate with Estimators to set up and maintain accurate project documentation including submittals, wage orders, and change ordersServe as a liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams to resolve issues and communicate project statusGenerate regular progress reports and updates for internal and external stakeholders on an ongoing basisAssist in the preparation of project closeout documentation to ensure timely and compliant project completionIdentify project-related challenges and coordinate with the project team to develop and implement timely solutionsQualifications - Construction Project CoordinatorPrior experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, or Construction Office Coordinator preferred; entry-level candidates with relevant skills encouraged to applyStrong organizational and time-management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with project management software a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interface professionally with clients, subcontractors, and field teamsPreferred Qualifications - Construction Project CoordinatorExperience in civil, paving, or heavy highway construction administrationFamiliarity with prevailing wage documentation, certified payroll, or Davis-Bacon compliancePrior use of construction management platforms such as Procore, Viewpoint, or similar toolsPhysical Requirements - Construction Project CoordinatorPrimarily office-based; occasional visits to active job sites may be requiredMust be able to sit for extended periods and operate standard office equipment throughout the workdayAbility to lift up to 25 lbs. on occasionStandard Monday through Friday schedule; occasional overtime during peak project periods
