Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at Embrace Life Mental Healthcare, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual therapy to clients, as well as couples and family therapy sessions.
\n
• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored treatment plans based on client needs.
\n
• Treating a variety of issues including, but not limited to, substance abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, and communication difficulties.
\n
• Facilitating family therapy sessions aimed at resolving conflicts, improving relationships, and fostering communication.
\n
• Documenting client progress and treatment outcomes using our secure electronic health record (EHR) system.
\n
• Participating in regular clinical supervision and team meetings to promote best practices and share insights.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our dedicated LMFTs work with a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and adolescents. You will support individuals from various backgrounds, addressing complex issues such as adjustment to life changes, family dynamics, blended family challenges, and mental health disorders. Your expertise in family and marriage therapy will be crucial in offering effective interventions tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, prospective candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Current and valid LMFT licensure in the state of New York.
\n
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience delivering therapy in a clinical setting.
