Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Professional Counselor will be responsible for a variety of essential functions, including:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and establishing therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients.

• Providing one-on-one counseling sessions via our telehealth platform, utilizing evidence-based approaches to address emotional and behavioral challenges.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, including treatment notes and progress reports, in accordance with best practices and organizational policy.

• Participating in regular multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases, share insights, and collaborate on integrated treatment strategies.

• Implementing crisis intervention techniques and providing immediate support for clients experiencing urgent concerns, helping them navigate immediate emotional distress.

• Consulting with clients’ families or support systems, as appropriate, to enhance the therapeutic process and ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients represent a diverse range of ages, backgrounds, and mental health needs. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals facing various issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. The telehealth model enables clients from different geographic areas to access our services, broadening your exposure to a unique and varied patient population. As a result, you will have the chance to apply a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and solution-focused therapy.

Qualifications\n

To ensure the highest quality of care, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Professional Counseling or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active state license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania.

• At least two years of experience providing counseling services within an outpatient mental health setting.
