Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is proud to partner with a prestigious South Florida law firm in its search for an experienced Commercial Litigation Paralegal . This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected litigation team handling sophisticated and complex commercial matters in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys throughout all phases of complex commercial litigation.
• Draft, review, and organize pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and correspondence.
• Manage large case files, maintain litigation calendars, and monitor critical deadlines.
• Coordinate document production, review, and organization for discovery.
• Prepare exhibits, witness binders, trial notebooks, and mediation/arbitration materials.
• File documents electronically in both Florida State and Federal Courts.
• Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial logistics.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and online court resources.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors.
• Support attorneys during trial preparation and attend trial when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial litigation paralegal experience in a law firm.
• Strong knowledge of Florida State and Federal Court procedures and e-filing.
• Trial preparation experience is highly preferred.
• Experience handling complex litigation matters from inception through trial.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
