Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at improving the functional capabilities of our clients. Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing and mentoring Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure safe and effective execution of therapy plans.

• Implementing therapeutic exercises, including manual therapy and modality treatments like traction and massage, tailored to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitoring patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and collaborating with physicians and case managers to enhance care strategies.
• Preparing and maintaining accurate clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with agency standards.
• Engaging in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment continuity and patient care strategies, ensuring open communication across all levels of care.
• Providing education and training to patients and their families about therapy protocols and the use of any prescribed assistive devices.
• Maintaining compliance with all regulations that govern physical therapy practice at the state and federal levels.
