Ruszoni’s is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Lead to join our family-owned restaurant team. This role is essential for ensuring smooth kitchen operations by coordinating a small team, maintaining quality standards, and delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is proactive, team-oriented, and passionate about fostering a welcoming environment for both staff and guests. This part-time position offers 15-35 hours per week with varying pay and excellent growth opportunities within our business.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a small team of 2-5 kitchen staff
- Ensure food quality and safety standards are consistently met
- Deliver exceptional customer service and uphold the restaurant’s family-friendly atmosphere
- Manage tasks proactively and support team members as needed
- Report directly to the Owner/General Manager
- Work regular weekend shifts with occasional additional weekend coverage
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in ServSafe or equivalent food safety training
- Experience in kitchen management and food safety protocols
- Strong team leadership and communication skills
- Customer service excellence
- Effective time management abilities
