Collection Specialist

We provide customers with products and value-added solutions within Fluid Power, Fluid Process, Fluid Conveyance, General Industrial Components, and Industrial Repair. The Collections Specialist will be responsible for contacting customers on past due balances and assist with resolving invoice problems with the help of sales and customer service. The Collections Specialist will assist in maintaining and improving over 60 aging and DSO target. Responsibilities Contact customers regarding past due balance. Research and resolve problems and disputes. Work with Credit Analyst to compile data for month end reports for management. Skills and Experience High school/GED diploma with an Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred or combination of education and experience. 2 years previous collections experience Excellent communication and computer skills Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel and Outlook) required.
